Fact of the day: The Oktoberfest was born today in 1810

To celebrate the marriage between prince Ludwig and princess Therese all citizens were invited on the meadows in front of the city. Even back then the menu of the day was beer and there probably wasn’t more than 6 million people…cheers to that!
